In 1998 A’vese began her publishing career. Writing was not an aspiration of A”vese then. Before she began her publishing career she was a network marketer, sold Tupperware, clothes,and  she was a daycare provider.

One day while working  for a temp agency,  at the county fair, registering  guest for a drawing, she had nothing else to do except wait for people to come by her station to register. While waiting she began writing poems. At the end of the work day she had written six.  It was then she was encouraged to take her literary talents to the next level.She was hesitant about doing so because she  was involved in multilevel marketing, and had little  experience in public speaking.

A’vese began reciting her poetry to her family and friends. She produced her first recital attracting an audience of more than 100 in an art gallery. To her surprise she earned a standing ovation the very first performance.  A’vese has been using her talents to broaden her publishing career. A’vese is now designing greeting cards, and posters as one of her latest projects.
